Power can be supplied via power plug directly or using bias tee over the coax cable. 3 or 4 built in filters avoid inferences with out-of-band signals perfectly.

 

Max 31dB gain setup for RX, which shall offer ideal solutions to various applications by launching attenuation functions.

Tips: How to use DIP switches (Waterproof version)

1. Disassemble the cover of the amplifier if you need to adjust the RX or TX gain that suits your location or testing purposes.

 

2. Make sure you connect the right direction from ANT to MINER (FLARM) after disassembling and fixed the screws (as shown above) in order to get better visual for DIP switches inside of amplifier and grid of gain numbers on the cover.

 

3. Always make sure to turn off the bias tee or power when changing the Dip switches settings to avoid any damage to miner or amp.

4. From the table shown on the cover, first row represents the 10 switches shown on the board, and second row has the gain values. Switches 1 to 5 is for RX, and switches 6 to 10 is for TX.

 

5. The maximum factory setting for RX can reach to 31dB, and 13dB for TX. However, factory will setup a fixed RX and TX gain values as for original gain based upon specific requirements.

 

Note: Please note that absolute minimum gain value for RX is 10dB and TX is 0dB.

If you attenuate more than minimum gain values amplifier will not work properly.

Example: If the factory set up is RX17 and TX6, you can only attenuate between 10dB to 17dB for RX and 0dB to 6dB for TX.

 

6. Each DIP switch number is associated with a gain and each value will attenuate the signal according to the numbers listed in the table. Example: If you switch ON number 1, this means 1dB will be attenuated for RX, and if you switch ON number 8, then TX will be attenuated by 4dB.

 

7. Switches can also be used in combination to reach higher or specific attenuation numbers. Example: If you switch ON number 2+3, then the signal will be attenuated 2dB+4dB=6dB for RX; And if you switch ON 6+9, then signal will be attenuated for 1dB+8dB=9dB for TX.
