When compared to an indoor antenna, which distributes the signal to and from a mobile phone, the donor antenna sends and receives signals from the tower. The amplifier, also known as a repeater or a bi-directional amplifier (BDA), amplifies both signals traveling from the tower to the phone and from the phone back to the tower. The donor and indoor antennae are linked by a coaxial cable to the amplifier. A splitter or coupler is unquestionably essential for deployment if you want to divide the signals to several locations indoors.
